What we store, why we store it, and what we never touch.

This is a plain-language draft. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it.

What we store about you

For a shop owner: your name, email address and password (kept only as a hash, never readable), plus the shop settings you enter — including your bank account details, with the merchant secrets encrypted.

What your shop stores about buyers

When someone orders, the shop keeps the name, phone number and, if given, the email address and delivery address, together with the order itself. That data is your shop's; we hold it for you and do not use it for anything else.

Card details

We never receive or store card numbers. A card payment happens on the page of Bank of Georgia or TBC; all we learn back is whether the payment succeeded and the bank's reference for it.

Cookies

We use the cookies the service needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers a cart between pages, and one for your language and theme. There is no advertising tracking on datastore.ge.

Who else sees it

Your bank, for the payments you send it. Our email provider, to deliver the messages your shop sends. Our hosting provider, on whose servers the data sits. Nobody else, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your data while your shop exists and for a reasonable period afterwards, so a shop that comes back finds its products and orders in place. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where the law requires us to keep records.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us and we will answer.
