How your shop works.

Everything here is done from your panel at my-store.datastore.ge/admin. Nothing needs installing, and nothing here needs code.

Getting in

Your panel lives at your own address with /admin on the end. We create the first account for you when the shop is set up; from then on the password is yours to change under Account.

If you forget it, "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page emails you a link that works for an hour. For a second lock, switch on sign-in codes under Account โ€” after your password we email a six-digit code that expires in ten minutes.

Products and collections

A product needs a name and a price; everything else is optional. Photos are uploaded in the order you want them shown, and the first one is the cover.

Options are what a product comes in โ€” size, colour, volume. Define them once under Product options, then tick the ones each product offers. Stock is then counted per combination, so "Red / M" can sell out while "Blue / M" keeps selling.

Collections group products for your buyers. They can be nested one level deep, and a collection with a cover photo can be featured on the home page.

Taking payment

Under Settings โ†’ Payments you tick what you accept: cash on delivery, Bank of Georgia, TBC. Each bank is set up on its own.

Enter the account the bank settles to, then the merchant credentials from your bank contract. The payment then happens on the bank's own page and the order arrives already paid. The "Test setup" button checks both before you save.

  • The bank keeps its commission on card payments, at the rate in your merchant agreement.
  • We never see card numbers: they are entered on the bank's page, not ours.
  • An unpaid or abandoned card payment cancels itself and the stock goes back.

Orders

Every order emails each admin account and, if the buyer left an address, sends them a confirmation. Orders move through new, confirmed, shipped and completed; cancelling one puts its items back into stock automatically.

Stock is taken the moment an order is placed, not when it is paid, so two buyers cannot take the last item.

The look of your shop

Settings โ†’ Design offers six templates, each a whole page structure of its own, and your own colours, typeface, corners and home-page cover on top. The preview beside the form changes as you edit, so you can see the result before saving.

Your logo becomes the browser tab icon as well. Photos look best square or 4:5 and under 4 MB.
